We are a startup attempting to tackle complex challenges using simple approaches enabled by the advent of AI. Our first project - codenamed VAAT - will be revealed in the coming months. More details to come.
Operational safety and airspace management are our core focus areas. With 20+ years experience in aviation and unmanned aerial operations, we understand the challenges that will face the industry in the near future. Automation and airspace congestion will be key challenges, and the industry will need to find new ways to operate safely and efficiently.
Scalable local AI solutions that can be deployed on-premise or in the cloud, prioritizing privacy and control. We are implementing a new approach to AI that allows for complex operations using very little processing power.
We build our software with integration in mind. Though our tools can be used as standalone systems, we expose APIs to allow our workflows to feed data into existing infrastructure.
Our first product is still in private development. We are not sharing details publicly yet—if you are exploring partnerships or research collaborations in airspace management and AI, we would love to hear from you.
More to share soon.
Mark Hovdestad and Stephane Charpentier founded SkAI Fusion in 2025 after a discussion led to a novel approach for an airspace awareness tool. Our goal is to use AI tools to boost aviation and airport operational safety in a way that complements existing safety systems.
